Godspell

Conceived and Originally Directed by John Michael Tebelak
Music and Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz

Directed by Ron Law
Music Direction by Maggie Gallagher
Choreography by Gretchen Hall

Prepare ye for the timeless tale of friendship, loyalty and love based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew. A small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and hefty doses of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.

"Godspell" is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com

Plaza Suite

by Neil Simon

Directed by Gregg Vogelsmeier

Three couples successively occupy the same suite at the Plaza Hotel in New York. A suburban couple return on their anniversary to the suite in which they honeymooned 23 (or was it 24?) years before, in an attempt to revitalize a struggling marriage. A Hollywood producer calls a childhood sweetheart, now a suburban housewife, for a little diversion, but she proves to be more than the match he bargained for. The mother and father of a bride-to-be argue about the best way to get their daughter out of the bathroom and down to the ballroom where their guests await.

Our Town

by Thornton Wilder

Directed by Mark Graves

The residents of Grover's Corners -- a small American town like any other -- go about their daily lives: newspapers are delivered; people go to work; gardens are tended. And a young boy and girl fall in love. Through the experiences and relationships of these "unremarkable" townsfolk, we discover universal truths, about what it means to be human and the cyclical nature of life. But as life's events unfold, an unexpected tragedy strikes -- and in its wake, one question remains: "Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it?"
