Update

Dear friends of Stained Glass Playhouse,

We hope this update finds you well, during what continues to be a challenging year.

Like many of our fellow community theatres, we've decided to cancel our 2020-2021 season.  Our previously announced shows are indefinitely postponed, to be re-scheduled in a future season.

Please know that this was a very difficult decision to make.  Despite having to postpone both our May and August shows, we still held out hope that we would be able to return to the stage this year, and made sure we'd be ready to welcome you back as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to hinder our ability to gather safely and responsibly. To keep on delaying and shifting our shows around is no longer a realistic option. We cannot reasonably expect our actors, directors, artists, licensing companies, and patrons to keep changing their plans along with us.  So, instead, we have accepted that the best thing for everyone involved is for us to take a step back, wait patiently for our health professionals and leaders to get us through this, and come back stronger than ever once this crisis has passed.

In the meantime, we're working on ideas for online content to bring you until we can return to in-person programming.  Please watch for emails, and announcements here on our website and on our Facebook page, about this new content.

We will be reaching out to anyone who purchased Flex Tickets for the 2020-2021 season, to thank you and to see how you would like us to handle your purchase.  We would also like to thank everyone who has recently made a financial contribution to the Playhouse.  Like most other arts organizations and non-profits, we have been significantly impacted by this prolonged closure, and are grateful for donations of any size to help us through this difficult time.  Donations may be mailed to us at Stained Glass Playhouse, PO Box 11527, Winston-Salem, NC 27116-1152, or made online right here on our website.

Thank you for your continued patience and support.  We eagerly await the day when we can welcome you into our theatre again.  Until then, be safe, and be well.

Sincerely,
The Board of Directors at Stained Glass Playhouse
