FIND YOUR PLACE
GET INVOLVED
There is a place for you at Stained Glass Playhouse. Whether you want to perform, work backstage, build, create, welcome patrons, or simply lend a hand, community theatre happens because people from throughout our community bring their talents together.
FIND YOUR PLACE
THERE'S MORE THAN ONE WAY TO BE PART OF THE SHOW
PERFORM
Take the stage.
Actors and performers bring every Stained Glass production to life.
BACKSTAGE
Make the production happen.
Stage managers, running crew, props teams, and other backstage volunteers help turn rehearsals into performances.
TECHNICAL
Bring the stage to life.
Lighting, sound, and other technical roles help create the world audiences experience onstage.
SETS & PROPS
Build the world of the show.
Help construct, paint, decorate, organize, and prepare the scenic elements and props used in our productions.
COSTUMES
Help tell the story visually.
Costume volunteers help prepare, organize, alter, and maintain the clothing that helps define characters and productions.
FRONT OF HOUSE
Welcome our audience.
Help make the theatre experience welcoming for patrons before and during performances.
COMMUNITY THEATRE IS FOR THE COMMUNITY
NO EXPERIENCE? THAT'S OKAY.
Community theatre brings together people with different backgrounds, skills, and levels of experience. Some volunteers arrive with years of theatre experience. Others discover something completely new. What matters is a willingness to contribute, learn, and become part of the team.
NOT SURE WHERE YOU FIT?
You don’t have to know exactly what role you’re looking for. Tell us what interests you, what skills you’d like to share, or simply that you’d like to help, and we can start the conversation.
