In “Love at the Kernersville Honeybee Festival,” Dave can’t ask Mary on a date without feeling that he’s cheating on his deceased wife. Dave’s new friend Kyle, a fellow widower, is new to Kernersville and tries to help, but he has also taken a shine to Dave’s daughter, June, and now has problems of his own. June’s friends certainly don’t help with their advice and accusations toward Kyle. Meanwhile Carol, June’s teenage daughter, is having trouble with a ten-year-old stalker. It takes a time capsule, an elaborate date proposal, a “killer bee”, and more to resolve these issues and let them find love at the Kernersville Honeybee Festival.
